The fundamental law of good governance is, that for the power given by people to government, there must be a commensurate accountability on part of government to the people. E-Governance is the facilitator in this regard. Way back in 2003 we defined e- Governance as “Electronic Delivery of Government services that are actually received by the citizen” Thus, e Governance means to fundamentally change as to how the government operates and this implies a new set of responsibilities for the executive, legislature and citizens
We have studies, assessed and filmed more e- governance projects then any other agency in India and perhaps in the world. From remote Majuli in Assam, Habra in West Bengal,Temi&Namchi in Sikkim, West Godavari in Andhra Pradesh, Uttarakhand up North to mega cities like Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore, we have extensively covered the country since 2003 in search of learning from projects that work and equally importantly learning from those that don not .
